The time we got nabe with Miyuki

Nabe (pronounsed nah-bay)is a big pot of soup that cooks on the table burner that you share with everyone at your table (you get your own little bowls though).

It was pretty good, it sucks not being able to read the menu and order what you really want though, so we just eat what Miyuki orders for us. The restaurants here get me a little claustrophobic. Also, I'm sure in the US they would be closed down due to the fire hazard that 20 gas burners on wooden tables present. Not only do you smell propane/whatever gas burners run on when you first walk through the door--people are lighting up their cigs all over the place.

Also, Miyuki went to a baseball game that day and bought Bret a souvenir towel thing. He promptly tied it to his head, which is why there's a picture.
